MANAGING ATTORNEY
Mike H. T. Nguyen is the managing attorney of Nguyen & Associates Law Firm, where he oversees the firm’s day-to-day business operations and litigation department. He relocated to Las Vegas after graduating from law school in 2010 and has since made this vibrant city his home. Throughout his career, Mike has achieved numerous accomplishments, showcasing his legal prowess and dedication to his clients. Notably, at the age of 27, he successfully secured a verdict for a client in a complex contract trial, taking on a case that had been declined by other firms. At just 28, Mike made an indelible mark by arguing before the Nevada Supreme Court, en banc (heard by all 7 Justices), and winning a unanimous decision on an issue of first impression, establishing himself as one of Nevada’s youngest attorneys to achieve such a feat. His influence extends beyond the courtroom, with the ruling now being taught at Boyd Law School.
As an experienced litigator, Mike has tried numerous cases to verdict, resulting in substantial financial recoveries for his clients. His dedication to fighting for the rights of injured victims is evident in his unwavering commitment to seeking justice. Mike graduated with honors from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology. He also received a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree with the highest grade in Federal Income Tax in his class from the Drake University Law School. While in law school, Mike was a member and editor of the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law. Mike was admitted to the Nevada Bar in 2010 and was also admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Nevada that same year. He has earned numerous distinguished awards both nationally and locally in the field of law. Beyond his legal achievements, Mike is actively involved in the community, investing both his time and resources for its betterment. He began serving as Chairman of the Vietnamese Community of Las Vegas organization in 2015, organizing community events that brought many people together. In 2021, he provided Covid vaccines at the Nguyen & Associates Law Firm for free to support the community during the pandemic. In 2016, Mike acquired a commercial building, establishing it as Nguyen & Associates’ permanent home, solidifying the firm’s presence in the city. In 2019, he successfully negotiated the purchase of the Viet My Services Center, and in 2022, transformed it into Nguyen & Associates Chinatown location, expanding legal access to the community.

Quran Allen is a legal assistant at Nguyen & Associates, LLC. He is a recent graduate of the University of Nevada Reno where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a Minor in English Writing. Quran’s love for the legal field started early when he was in 7th grade. During that time, he was introduced to Mock Trial and since then his natural love for competition, public speaking, and learning about the legal field has grown. Quran participated in Mock Trial, Moot Court, and We The People during his high school career leading his team to individual and team recognition at the regional, state, national, and international level. During his time at the University of Nevada Reno, he became the President and Captain of the school’s Mock Trial Team where he obtained numerous awards at the regional level and throughout competitions hosted by other Universities. Quran hopes that the dedication and love he has built will continue through his aspirations to attend law school and eventually become a practicing attorney. To that end, Quran aims to use the knowledge and skills he has gained throughout his life not only to contribute to the success of Nguyen & Associates LLC, but overall to make meaningful contributions to the legal field. At work, he demonstrates unwavering dedication to his clients. Quran’s hobbies outside of work include spending time with his friends, playing with his dog Apollo, basketball, video games, and finding new music, TV shows, and movies to listen to and watch. Quran volunteers as an alumni coach for his high school’s Mock Trial Team and is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. where he regularly volunteers in creating and participating in events in the community that emphasize the importance of voting, youth development, and events that contribute to the wellbeing of the elderly. Konni is the office manager at Nguyen & Associates. After 10 years of working in food and beverage management, opening hotels and casinos, she decided to switch industries and join the legal field. She’s opened numerous bars, restaurants, and hotels, most notably, the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas and the Pasea Hotel in Huntington Beach. In 2018, Konni moved back to Las Vegas, and joined Nguyen & Associates. She brings her many years of experience as a manager to support the Nguyen & Associates team as a whole.
Konni was born and raised in Las Vegas. When she’s not working, she enjoys paddleboarding, camping, and spending time with her family and friends.

Sade Franklin is a dedicated Assistant Case Manager at Nguyen & Associates, specializing in bodily injury claims. With a strong sense of leadership, she ensures efficient case management for clients. Sade attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, earning a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. As the oldest of six siblings, she brings a natural sense of responsibility to her work. Sade’s passion for learning and dedication to her clients drive her success. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and attending music festivals. Jack Knapp was born and raised in Las Vegas and is currently an assistant case manager at the boutique personal injury firm Nguyen & Associates. He is in his senior year at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he is pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a double-minor in Computer Science and Psychology. He has been placed on the Dean’s Honor list every semester so far during his time at UNLV, and he currently receives numerous merit-based academic scholarships. When he graduates, he looks forward to combining his knowledge of computer science with his passion for the law, driving innovation within the legal field as he moves on to pursue his Juris Doctor degree.
In his present role, with over two years of legal experience, he seeks to leverage his knowledge of insurance policies and complex personal injury matters to help each of his clients receive the financial compensation that they deserve.

Soudaba Nemati is a legal receptionist at Nguyen and Associates. Soudaba is a first-generation Afghan American born and raised in the transient and evolving destination of Las Vegas, Nevada. Soudaba’s remarkable ability to tackle challenges head-on, maintain focus amidst setbacks, and to persist with determination allow her to excel. Kayla’s passion lies in the legal field, and she has plans to attend law school after completion of her undergraduate studies. She spent the first half of her career in the semiconductor industry in the heart of Silicon Valley. Her technical background allows her to immediately spot issues for clients and formulate solutions to assist them in the most efficient manner at the firm. She is dedicated to helping clients achieve the best results possible. Kathleen loves her job as it allows her to meet new people on a daily basis and assist them in navigating complex legal issues.
In her leisure time, Kathleen indulges in a diverse range of hobbies and passions. An avid outdoor enthusiast, she often explores scenic hiking trails and enjoys the tranquility of nature. Additionally, she finds solace in the art of photography, capturing precious moments that resonate with her artistic soul. Oliver Gamilde is the Assistant Disbursing Office at Nguyen & Associates. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is consistently recognized as a dean’s lister for achieving the highest academic honors at UNLV. In 2020, Oliver was a national representative for the State of Nevada, securing the gold medal in the HOSA Leadership competition and was nominated for the Congress of Future Medical Leaders Award of Excellence. Having the ability to speak English, Tagalog, Ilocano, and Korean, Oliver earned the prestigious Seal of Biliteracy.
Oliver also serves in the Nevada Army National Guard, fulfilling a dual mission of protecting local communities at the state level and supporting active duty military forces on a federal level. Raised in Las Vegas, Oliver has a deep passion for assisting and serving his local community. Drawing from his background in medicine, his interest in personal injury law stems from a desire to help and support injured clients in their legal battles. Mike H.T. Nguyen, Esq.
MANAGING ATTORNEY
Mike H. T. Nguyen is the managing attorney of Nguyen & Associates Law Firm, where he oversees the firm’s day-to-day business operations and litigation department. He relocated to Las Vegas after graduating from law school in 2010 and has since made this vibrant city his home.
Throughout his career, Mike has achieved numerous accomplishments, showcasing his legal prowess and dedication to his clients. Notably, at the age of 27, he successfully secured a verdict for a client in a complex contract trial, taking on a case that had been declined by other firms.
At just 28, Mike made an indelible mark by arguing before the Nevada Supreme Court, en banc (heard by all 7 Justices), and winning a unanimous decision on an issue of first impression, establishing himself as one of Nevada’s youngest attorneys to achieve such a feat. His influence extends beyond the courtroom, with the ruling now being taught at Boyd Law School.
As an experienced litigator, Mike has tried numerous cases to verdict, resulting in substantial financial recoveries for his clients. His dedication to fighting for the rights of injured victims is evident in his unwavering commitment to seeking justice.
Mike graduated with honors from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology. He also received a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree with the highest grade in Federal Income Tax in his class from the Drake University Law School. While in law school, Mike was a member and editor of the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law.
Mike was admitted to the Nevada Bar in 2010 and was also admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Nevada that same year. He has earned numerous distinguished awards both nationally and locally in the field of law.
Beyond his legal achievements, Mike is actively involved in the community, investing both his time and resources for its betterment. He began serving as Chairman of the Vietnamese Community of Las Vegas organization in 2015, organizing community events that brought many people together. In 2021, he provided Covid vaccines at the Nguyen & Associates Law Firm for free to support the community during the pandemic.
In 2016, Mike acquired a commercial building, establishing it as Nguyen & Associates’ permanent home, solidifying the firm’s presence in the city. In 2019, he successfully negotiated the purchase of the Viet My Services Center, and in 2022, transformed it into Nguyen & Associates Chinatown location, expanding legal access to the community.
Mike’s impressive journey is characterized by his passion for his work and his commitment to the community. His legal accomplishments, combined with his contributions to society, exemplify a life dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Mike personally meets with each of his clients and takes the time to attentively listen to their unique stories. Instead of limiting consultations to a strict 15 or 30 minutes, he encourages his clients to thoroughly present their cases. Mike goes above and beyond, often scheduling consultations on weekends and dedicating as long as 4 hours per consultation. He recognizes the significance of every case and treats their fight as his own, relentlessly striving to secure the best possible compensation for them.
Mike rarely finds any free time, but when he does, he indulges in his passions for self-improvement by listening to podcasts and researching new topics in the tech world. Quran Allen is a legal assistant at Nguyen & Associates, LLC. He is a recent graduate of the University of Nevada Reno where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a Minor in English Writing. Quran’s love for the legal field started early when he was in 7th grade. During that time, he was introduced to Mock Trial and since then his natural love for competition, public speaking, and learning about the legal field has grown. Quran participated in Mock Trial, Moot Court, and We The People during his high school career leading his team to individual and team recognition at the regional, state, national, and international level.
During his time at the University of Nevada Reno, he became the President and Captain of the school’s Mock Trial Team where he obtained numerous awards at the regional level and throughout competitions hosted by other Universities. Quran hopes that the dedication and love he has built will continue through his aspirations to attend law school and eventually become a practicing attorney. To that end, Quran aims to use the knowledge and skills he has gained throughout his life not only to contribute to the success of Nguyen & Associates LLC, but overall to make meaningful contributions to the legal field. At work, he demonstrates unwavering dedication to his clients. With a proactive approach, he promptly responds to their inquiries and ensures that all their questions are addressed with utmost care and attention. Quran’s hobbies outside of work include spending time with his friends, playing with his dog Apollo, basketball, video games, and finding new music, TV shows, and movies to listen to and watch. Quran volunteers as an alumni coach for his high school’s Mock Trial Team and is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. where he regularly volunteers in creating and participating in events in the community that emphasize the importance of voting, youth development, and events that contribute to the wellbeing of the elderly. As a Las Vegas native Quran is eager to continue learning, growing, and building as a person while contributing to the firm.

Oliver Gamilde is the Assistant Disbursing Office at Nguyen & Associates. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is consistently recognized as a dean’s lister for achieving the highest academic honors at UNLV. In 2020, Oliver was a national representative for the State of Nevada, securing the gold medal in the HOSA Leadership competition and was nominated for the Congress of Future Medical Leaders Award of Excellence. Having the ability to speak English, Tagalog, Ilocano, and Korean, Oliver earned the prestigious Seal of Biliteracy.
Oliver also serves in the Nevada Army National Guard, fulfilling a dual mission of protecting local communities at the state level and supporting active duty military forces on a federal level. Raised in Las Vegas, Oliver has a deep passion for assisting and serving his local community. Drawing from his background in medicine, his interest in personal injury law stems from a desire to help and support injured clients in their legal battles. Kayla Pham is a legal assistant at Nguyen & Associates. Graduating with honors from Nevada State High School in 2021, she is currently pursuing a BSBA degree in Accounting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and has earned her a place on the 2022 and 2023 Dean’s Honor List at UNLV.
Kayla’s passion lies in the legal field, and she has plans to attend law school after completion of her undergraduate studies. Kayla prides herself on her empathy and is honored to work on behalf of injured people. During her free time, Kayla enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also has a love for travel, fitness, and baking.
Konni Tran

Konni is the office manager at Nguyen & Associates. After 10 years of working in food and beverage management, opening hotels and casinos, she decided to switch industries and join the legal field. She’s opened numerous bars, restaurants, and hotels, most notably, the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas and the Pasea Hotel in Huntington Beach. In 2018, Konni moved back to Las Vegas, and joined Nguyen & Associates. She brings her many years of experience as a manager to support the Nguyen & Associates team as a whole.
Konni was born and raised in Las Vegas. When she’s not working, she enjoys paddleboarding, camping, and spending time with her family and friends.

He is in his senior year at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he is pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a double-minor in Computer Science and Psychology. He has been placed on the Dean’s Honor list every semester so far during his time at UNLV, and he currently receives numerous merit-based academic scholarships. When he graduates, he looks forward to combining his knowledge of computer science with his passion for the law, driving innovation within the legal field as he moves on to pursue his Juris Doctor degree.
